It was another fun day when my cousins and I had a little kids’ party together.

We wanted to have some fun but without the modern generation technology as we wanted all of us to be together. All of us sat in front of a gateway so that the football we were passing to each other with bats, dandiya and other stuff would not hit a goal, and whosoever hit the ball in the gateway won.

Dad heard our laughter and came quickly to have a look at us. He was amazed to see us play like this and said we were in a non-tech world – old-school style. We were experiencing the joy of childhood. Everyone was going crazy, and the energy was amazing.

Soon we started playing a game with a spy television thing. Here we have to whisper in each other’s ears via a cardboard roll. Shrey and I made a good team. Even dad joined us and started to whisper in the roll, but he was too loud, and I could hear him. It was funny.

Animal man Shrey, musician man Yuvik, Bharatnatyam dancer Miss Niva and me –it was a house full of a crazy crowd. Then we played Pachika, the game my grandma used to play with rocks when she was little. Dad came & surprised us with some fantastic drinks.

It was amazing to stay away from technology and go back to traditional games.

How long has it been since you disconnected from technology and stayed in touch with people?

Don’t hesitate; if you haven’t yet done it, do it now and join us in our 365 days of fun.
