When I reached the door, I saw that dad had something held in his fist. He said that he had caught a fly. His catch of a fly surprised me, and I wondered how he got it. When he opened his fist, the fly didn’t try to escape. Dad said when you have friendly vibrations, even a fly becomes your friend.
While we were talking, I suddenly realized the Palm Tree was growing. Dad said the remarkable thing about Palm Tree is when you touch it when it is a sapling, it’s soft, just like a baby. But as it starts growing, it becomes all spiky. In the same way, humans are all soft, moldy, flexible & joyful when young, and stiff when they grow older.
Dad always has a different point of view about the things around us. After our little chat, I went back to studying, and it was a good break from all the studying.
