It was one of those days when I felt “meh”. I was bored, and nothing excited me. But dad obviously couldn’t see me like that and decided to take me to Safeway to change my mood and cheer me up a bit.
I sat in the trolley while dad put stuff in it and gave me a ride. I also added a few things to the trolley. We bought some groceries, cheese, blueberries, grapes, cookies etc.
Dad kept talking and joking to make me smile. He said the best part about Safeway was he got to buy kids like me. He added that he got to buy my smile and company, which made him happy.
Then we reached back home, and I continued with my antics.
