I love going out with Dad and spending time with him. Today we took my grandparent’s car out and got some things from the store. On our way back, we stopped to fill gas, and while my dad was busy filling it, I noticed this was a touchless car. It’s like stepping into a magical world.
Usually, my dad lets me help him wash the car. I like to spray the soap and water and then wipe it down with a sponge. It’s hard work, but it’s also a lot of fun. And when we’re done, the car looks brand new. It’s so shiny and clean.
But this time, it was different as we won’t be touching the car or washing it at all. We were going to a touchless car wash. “What’s a touchless car wash?” I asked my dad. “It’s a car wash that doesn’t require any human touch,” he said. “The machines do all the work.” I was intrigued as I had never been to a touchless car wash before.
We pulled into the car wash and parked. My dad got out of the car and went to the pay booth. I stayed in the car and watched as he paid for our wash. Then, he returned to the car, and we drove into the car wash tunnel. The first thing I noticed was the sound. It was a loud, whirring sound. The machines were working hard to clean our car. All the things will be done by the enormous machines. They’re all so big and powerful. It’s impressive to watch them work. It’s a clean, fresh smell that makes you feel good.
Then, I noticed the water. It was a fine mist that was being sprayed all over our car. The soap was also being sprayed on, making a bubbly foam. The car wash tunnel was long, and we took a few minutes to get through it. But when we finally came out, I was amazed.
Our car was spotless. It was so clean; it looked like it had just been waxed. I was so impressed. I had never seen a car wash work so well. “This is amazing!” I said to my dad. “I know,” he said. “Touchless car washes are the best.” Later when we reached home, my grandparents saw the car super shiny and clean and were so happy. They said it was the best car wash they’d ever had.
I’m so glad that I get to go to the car wash with my dad. It’s a great way to spend time together, and it’s always a lot of fun. I’m so glad that we went to the touchless car wash. It was a great experience, and our car looks terrific.
