Valentine’s Day Surprise!
Valentine’s Day! A day for hearts, flowers, and… pizza? Okay, maybe not traditionally, but my Valentine’s Day was extra special thanks to my awesome Dad! He actually left work early because he had a super-secret mission: Operation Valentine’s Surprise!
I was hanging out at home, when I heard the front door open. I decided to be sneaky and hide under a desk. It’s a pretty good hiding spot, if I do say so myself. Dad walked in, calling my name, and I stayed completely silent. He was carrying a big, flat box. Pizza! But not just any pizza. A delicious Pizza my Heart pizza!
Dad finally found me (I wasn’t that well-hidden) and presented me with the most amazing Valentine’s Day surprise ever. A pizza, just for me and Mommy! It smelled heavenly, all cheesy and delicious. We dug in right away, and it was the perfect Valentine’s Day treat.
After the pizza feast, I had another surprise planned for Dad. I love telling him dad jokes, and he always gets them wrong (which is part of the fun). I told him this super tricky one, and as usual, he was stumped. “If you can’t guess the answer,” I said, “you have to give me a gift!” He tried his best, but he just couldn’t get it. So, true to his word, he gave me my favorite candy! It was the sweetest ending to a perfect Valentine’s Day. Seriously, best Dad ever! And best pizza ever, too! Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all fancy dates and roses. Sometimes, all you need is family, laughter, and a delicious pizza to make it special.
