Picture this: you open your hotel room door, and there’s Simba, right there on the walls, welcoming you to your Lion King-themed room. It’s not just a room, it’s an immersive experience that brings the movie to life. And that giant Simba rug? It’s like stepping into the movie itself!
Our Disney adventure kicked off with breakfast at Lumiere’s Kitchen. Can you believe it? We dined in Beast’s castle! While the singing candles were missing, the talking dishes added a unique touch to the experience. They may not have been conversing, but their clanging was definitely entertaining!
After breakfast, we explored the resort, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! There was a giant swimming pool shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head and a movie theater shaped like a giant Donald Duck! We even saw characters like Ariel and Stitch walking around! I freaked out when I saw Ariel – her fins are the coolest thing ever, and I even got to give her a high five!
In the afternoon, we took a boat ride to Hollywood Studios (spoiler alert: it’s also super cool, but that’s a story for another blog!) We even got back to the resort for some splash time! We spent the whole evening swimming in the Mickey Mouse pool. We even had a small balloon fight; it was so much fun!
Feeling like a happy prune, we refueled our tanks;p at the Rainforest Cafe. Imagine this: we walked into a restaurant that looked like a real jungle, with animals everywhere (don’t worry, they were all stuffed!). There was even a talking gorilla – seriously, how cool is that? We had yummy food (and yummy mocktails for me!), and it was the perfect end to a super magical day.
The Disney Animation Resort was like living in a giant, fantastic cartoon. From the cool character rooms to the movie-themed fun, it was an experience I’ll never forget. I don’t ever wanna leave!
Stay tuned for more adventures as we explore the Disney Boardwalk mini-golf in the next episode of Wandering Tales! We’re gonna put our skills to the test on crazy fun courses, so get ready for some laughs and maybe a hole-in-one (or two!).
