I Went to Maui for Easter… and Found So Much More

Aloha from Maui!
Hi, I’m Keyaa—and this was not your regular spring break. I flew over 3,000 miles with my family to Hawaii, and from the moment we landed in Maui, it felt like stepping into a dream. Sun, sea, turtles, and even a surprise luau? Let me tell you all about the first three days of our adventure.

Day 1 – Touchdown & Tropical Treats
We landed in Maui and headed straight to Foodland Farms to grab snacks and groceries. First thing we had to try? Dole Whip! It was cold, pineapple-y, and totally hit the spot. We checked in at Hilton Vacation Club Ka’anapali, our home for the week—right by the beach! Just walking around the resort felt like a vacation on its own.

Day 2 – Easter Magic & Pizza Night
Dad and I sat down to go over our Maui plan. (Spoiler alert: it was packed with cool stuff!) Since it was Easter Sunday, the hotel surprised us with an Easter egg hunt—and I went all in. I found eggs in bushes, under chairs, everywhere—and won a bag full of goodies! Later that evening, we ended the day with a big pizza dinner.

Day 3 – Underwater Wonders & Whale Tales
We started the day snorkeling at Napili Bay. The water was a little murky, but suddenly, a sea turtle swam right by me! Then we explored Lahaina town, tried Ululani’s Shave Ice, and wrapped up with an epic whale-watching tour from Lahaina Harbor. We saw not just one—but a baby whale too!

Three days in and I was already in love with Maui. It’s like real life… but sunnier and with turtles.

Stay tuned with us to hear about the most exciting part of our trip!
