Hey, it’s Keyaa again!
I’ve been on countless adventures with Dad—but Leh? It’s in a league of its own—like stepping into another world.
🌕 Moon Land
Our day kicked off with something that honestly blew my mind—Moon Land. The terrain was so surreal, it felt like stepping onto another planet—right here in India.
🏳️ Prayer Flags
Did you know the fluttering flags you see all around in Leh send prayers into the wind? Each color represents an element: sky, air, fire, water, and earth.
🏔️ Lamayuru Monastery
Our spiritual trail continued at Lamayuru Monastery, a stunning 1,000-year-old structure carved into the mountains. But just as we arrived—rain started pouring down —super rare in Ladakh!
🌧️ The Landslide & Maggi Break
The rain caused a landslide, blocking our road for hours. But guess what? It turned into one of my favorite memories. We huddled under umbrellas, slurped hot Maggi noodles, and just enjoyed being in the moment.
🍲 Alchi Kitchen
Hunger struck again after the rain, and that’s when we found Alchi Kitchen. Their authentic Ladakhi food was next-level delicious. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss it. Trust me—your taste buds will thank you.
🌊 Sangam Point
Next stop? Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet. The different minerals in the rivers give the confluence this wild, color-shifting look—it’s nature’s version of a color palette.
Pathar Sahib Gurdwara
Our last spiritual stop was Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, home to an epic legend—Guru Nanak stopped a demon’s boulder with his back! The rock still holds his imprint. Gave me chills.
🌅 Reflective Ride Back
As the sun set, I realized: every twist, turn, and delay in Ladakh is a blessing.
Even the unexpected becomes unforgettable here.
Stay tuned… Day 4 is coming up next, and the views are only getting wilder!
